Biography

My love for physical activity began when I was a teenager. There were in a lot of areas of my life I felt I had little control but my exercise was all mine.

I did a lot of running, I loved the steepest hills, swimming and riding my bicycle but one of my biggest get offs was Martial Arts.

School academia wasn’t one of my strengths either so my gifts thrived more in the arts (music, theatre & dance). Skipping forward many years, it wasn’t until I was in my early 30’s that my wife encouraged me to start lifting weights and doing resistance training and she bought me a Chuck Norris Total Gym 2000. After a month of training with it, I found it to be more like a toy than a piece of fitness equipment, I was hungry for more.

I joined the local gym and acquired myself a personal trainer, a guy I knew lived the lifestyle and loved God, his name was Keith. Within about 3 months of consistent training and guidance I looked in the mirror and was astonished that I was getting some really positive results…… I was hooked.

I endeavour to be a compassionate trainer who doesn’t have a one size fits all approach and that is the beauty of The Training for Warriors System.

I feel most people are worth the effort and understand that with hectic lives people need to make the most of their training time.

I have a sincere love of people and want to be the difference by empowering them to be the best versions of themselves in Body, Mind & Spirit.
I believe that my students deserve to receive the benefits of better health & wellbeing through the implementing of strategically planned coaching and Training for Warriors has a system that allows me to deliver just that. I look at the body as an instrument that constantly needs tuning.

Any gym can have equipment and offer workouts. What separates the TFW system from other training programs is its culture. Although TFW encompasses signature warmups, speed training, strength training, endurance training, flexibility work and nutrition all based on a comprehensive evaluation process, the most important component of the system is its motivational approach and family environment. At TFW, we know if you don’t have fun and enjoy the training, you won’t do it. TFW is not designed as a sport or competition, but focuses on you competing against and bettering your body, mind and spirit.
